If auto HG is set (AN), HG measurements automatically are inserted after FR measurements as part of an automatic instrument recovery strategy. This configuration must be shut off during the ED (End of Day) or it could adversely affect the closing of the current day and creation of the new day data files.

The AF command is used to disable this strategy.
