“Damon is one of the smartest, most passionate, most thorough writers I've ever worked with, so he's really thinking about this in amazing ways. Again, I don't want to talk about the details of it, but when you sit with him, and you see the way his mind works, it's really kind of amazi
One thing that most Potterheads noticed right away when it came to the films was how different Michael Gambon's Dumbledore was compared to the version in the books. It's hard to forget that messy moment in the Goblet of Fire film when Dumbledore yelled, “Did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire?” while manhandling Harry. The book Dumbledore surely wasn't without some major flaws, as we found out in the final book, but he definitely never acted like that. There wasn't as much charisma or charm to Gambon's version of Albus Dumbledore which is kind of a sh
A question, then, might be: Does Dolores experience flashbacks during her fatal run-in with Rebus or is the show illustrating the way in which the audience is experiencing two separate timelines (a past and a present) unfold as a way of explaining Dolores's path toward consciousness and the role the Man in Black plays (and has played) on her journey? Given the emphasis the show has placed on the idea of memory and backstory, the latter seems less likely. The flash to the previous Peter Abernathy, the Man in Black in the barn, and the two encounters with the man on the porch that have different outcomes suggests more the importance of the role memory and learned behavior play in self-awareness than a twist that fundamentally alters the structure of the narrative. Dolores's arrival in William and Logan's camp also seems to seriously undermine the credibility of the dual timeline theory. While the dual timeline idea seems to be debunked, the events here don't necessarily refute it complet

Then, earlier this year, reports surfaced about Warner Bros. looking into developing an R-rated animated adaptation of the graphic novel, thus potentially indicating plans to shelve the live-action TV series. However, that didn't seem to be the case when Lindelof reportedly boarded the TV project in June. Although, even his involvement may be in question. Yesterday, Lindelof said that he hasn't had any meetings with HBO about Watchmen , though he said that he was interested in the project and seemed to indicate that he was at least contacted by the network about the adaptat

In the 'Goblet of Fire' book, we get to see a lot more of the Quidditch World Cup than we see in the movie. This makes sense, as there is no real reason to go into the details of the match in the film as it doesn't necessarily add anything significant to the plot. However, all of the little details from the match in the book were pretty fun to read about. For one thing, we never get to see the Veela and never learn about them in the films at all. We also miss out on seeing more of the campsite where wizards and witches show off all of their Quidditch team pr
While the canon of Harry Potter keeps expanding with new information from J.K. Rowling, one thing that hasn't changed or been modified in the book canon is the color of Harry Potter's eyes. In the books, the fact that Harry's eyes were the same color as his mother was referenced often by multiple characters such as Sirius Black and Hagrid. This all lead up to the dramatic moment between Snape and Harry as Snape died since Snape loved Lily. In the movies, however, Harry Potter doesn't have those bright green eyes. Instead, Daniel Radcliffe's natural blueish eye color was kept how it was. Plus, the actress who played Lily Potter had brown eyes, not b
