Requirement:

• BrewCMD
• Firmware file (*.bin) in the same directory as brewCMD.exe
• Corresponding Brewer config file (*.cfg) brewcmd.exe

1. Connect the brewer via BrewCMD
2. Enter load mode:

   loadmode

3. Change the baud rate of load mode to 4800:

   loadmode 4800

4. Flash the *.bin firmware (I.E. V2R2C.bin)

   load V2R2C.bin

   NOTE: DO NOTE UPLOAD V1R3A to the the newer 2 piece board. They are version 2, use V2R2C.

5. BrewCMD will then display the following.

   Erasing Flash memory. 
   Writing file VR2R2C.bin to flash ....

6. Wait till process is completed it should output 112 dots.
7. Turn the instrument off for about 10 seconds then turning it back up
8. Enter op mode 9600.

   opmode 9600

9. Load the config into the brewer (I.E. brew190.cfg)

   putcfg brew190.cfg

10. Instruct the Brewer to use the new config

    useconfig

11. Save the config to the eeprom

    save

12. BrewCMD will display a number (4 or 32 when the firmware is just installed depending on the version of the board)
13. Return the brewer back to cosmac mode

    loadmode
    cosmacmode

14. Exit BrewCMD and start dosbox

    quit
