However, even though it has come back from the brink of disaster to become a big success, there's one thing Warframe never got: A fancy cinematic trailer. There's no better flex than starting your game off with a big budget CGI video to get your blood pumping. Well it took Warframe six years to get it, but Digital Extremes finally has a trailer that they can call their
Wielding magic and guns, and Warframebase blog entry being able to customize abilities, gives the game depth. Paladins is an example of a game that goes against the delusion that pay to play games are always better than free-to-play titles. Paladins is an exceptional example of a free-to-play game done ri
These titles are present across PS4, PS3, and PS Vita platforms, ensuring that consumers are looked after across a wide range of Sony consoles. The offering overall is “meh,” but there is value in what's being given away in January 2019. Despite being lackluster, it can be argued that it's still better than December 2018's PlayStation Plus lineup – thanks to Ste
Grendel will arrive with Warframe ’s upcoming The Old Blood update, which also brings a bunch of new features. The Kuva Lich promises to be a player’s personal nemesis, acquiring whatever abilities were last used against it to turn them back on the Tenno. Melee 3.0 will finally finish with a phase 2 rollout that brings new heavy attacks, mid-air attacks, and lift and juggle attacks, making Warframe ’s melee combat even more satisfy
The trailer was revealed at this year's Tennocon, which is essentially E3 if it was only about Warframe . The trailer is sort of a prologue to the game itself, and it helps new players get better acquainted with the world they're about to drop i
Warframe is perhaps one of the best comeback stories in the gaming industry. Despite a pretty rough launch, the game has managed to gain a significant following over the past six years, with multiple expansions, and added content. It's perhaps one of the absolute best free-to-play games available to
As you can see, Grendel is basically Warframe ’s Kirby. A grosser, more murderous version of Kirby to be sure, but he’s still just Kirby with a scarier face. Which is sort of in-theme for Halloween, now that we think of it. That’s not to say that Grendel will be bad, per se. Kirby is a beloved character, after all. Just that Grendel might seem a little uninspi
Additionally, Warframe ’s two most maligned frames are getting reworked. Ember will gain a new “immolation” passive ability that keeps track of how many fires she’s set, while Vauban gets a general buff and a new fourth ability that allows him to call down an orbital str
Mabinogi has a passionate community that rallied behind the game when they learned of the MMOBomb vote. They’ve been driving really hard from the first round to show their support, and working to unite players across all Nexon titles. This promotion is our way of showing appreciation and support for their efforts. Regardless of the outcome of the competition, we will give all of our players an in-game event, not because of their votes, but to thank them for being part of the Nexon commun
It's free-to-play without a pay-to-win system that would give players an unfair advantage. Dota 2 's devs have done an outstanding job of making Dota 2 matches as competitive as possible. The game has a steep learning curve but is worthwhile once you grind past
Considering the insane amount of content that's been added to Warframe over time, there's almost no downside to checking it out. The game is free, and each new update adds something new, and in cases bizarre to the game. If you want to play something that feels like a a version of Anthem that was actually good, then you can pick up Warframe just about everywhere, including PC, Xbox One, PS4, and even the Nintendo Switch so you can slice and dice on the
Warframe is getting its first fat frame. While some characters have been described as “thicc” or “phat,” Grendel is unabashedly chunky. And while most other Warframes are loosely based off of Japanese samurai or ninjas, Grendel’s look is pretty obviously modeled after Sumo wrestlers. Just look at the way he sto
Finally, Super Mutant Alien Assault and Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion are arriving as freebies for PlayStation Vita owners. The first game is a single-player experience that tasks users with saving the human race in a side-scrolling platformer/shooter. Fallen Legion , on the other hand, is a Cross Buy game that PlayStation 4 owners can also download and enjoy. The title is an RPG, allowing users to explore a brand new world where decisions are said to impact the in-game lives of everyone around t
The second weapon added to the arsenal is the Destreza Prime. The Destreza in general has never been a personal favorite due to its limited range, but the Prime version is slowly making me a believer as it can rip right through armor like it’s nothing. This is unlike most melee weapons available, with the Endura being the one exception, as it’s a rapier that’s held in one hand and strikes forward, at least when not sliding. Oddly enough, the Prime version is nearly 10% slower than the standard Destreza, and damages 20% less in Puncture. Fortunately, everything else is boosted, with a higher critical chance and multiplier, along with the remaining attack values raising ever so slightly, and the status effect chance up over 3x what it originally was. It’s definitely a solid critical-centric weapon, and with the boost of status it should help it go further, but really, it’s nowhere near the level of weapons such as the Atterax which have a much wider spread of damage, which can bring entire rooms to their knees. At least it’s more versatile than say the Kronen Prime that came with the last Prime update, and it still holds up as a pretty good melee weapon.
