Cyberpunk 2077's protagonist is V, a mercenary that is original to the video game. While their origin is up to the player, they will notice that this protagonist would fit best into the solo class, regardless of ori

The only problem is that some junk sells for a lot of Eddies, and there’s no way to enable or disable this perk without spending 100,000 Eddies on a Tabula E-Rasa. And, apparently, players are reporting that this Perk has a habit of scrapping Quest Items that fit into the junk category, which, if true, is just so abs

This next one is by far Cyberpunk 2077's best Perk for quality-of-life improvements . By default, if V disassembles a gun with mods on, those mods get destroyed along with the gun, and there’s no way for them to take these mods off. Sure, V can craft them, but, with Waste Not Want Not, V gets those mods b

Another problem comes down to hype, as the hype train for certain games builds and builds until it can't live up to players' expectations. However, one thing many of the games have in common is that though they all had poor releases, many of the problems have been ironed out by now, and they’re now decent games for the most p

There is no denying it, Cyberpunk 2077 is possibly the most broken AAA game to ever hit shelves. Every copy was being recalled and stores even stopped selling the game, and it was removed from the PlayStation Store by S

Cyberpunk 2077’s gangs could’ve benefited from a system similar to Fallout , where players can actually support and join gangs. Panam’s ending with the Aldecaldos shows just how impactful being a part of a gang could be. Had CD Projekt Red given players the option to officially join a gang, the amount of possibilities for playthroughs and endings would be much wider. Although players can’t change the game to include everything that could’ve been, players can try to make Cyberpunk 2077 better with mods, as long as those mods aren’t hacking into players' compute

Solos in the Cyberpunk universe are basically mercenaries that take work as bodyguards, contract assassins, and whatever else a client with enough money will have them do. This has a lot of similarities to the gigs V partakes in during the course of 2

Scrapper might seem like one of Cyberpunk's worthwhile crafting perks, but it absolutely is not worth it in the long run. Scrapper does exactly what the description says: disassembles all items labeled as “Junk” automatically upon being picked

No Man’s Sky was a victim of hype, as it was possibly the most talked-about indie title in gaming history. Being a case of not following through with their promises, which is a problem that happens way too often in the video game industry, Hello Games promised the world, or more specifically, the infinite unive

There are some bright spots in Cyberpunk's gang system. Some gangs will remember actions taken against them by the player. For example, in a gig that involves V assisting the Aldecaldos in a deal with the Scavengers, the Scav gang members will remember V killed several members of the gang with Jackie in the Sandra Dorsett rescue gig. Players then have the option to use this past event to their advantage and intimidate the Scavs into doing the deal with the Aldecaldos peacefully. Another side gig involving the Scavs sees V robbed and taken to the very same apartment from “ The Rescue ”

Unless players are heavily relying on grenades, this Perk isn’t all that worth investing in. 20% is a tad low for a damage increase , especially for a Perk that costs two points to max. If it applied to all explosives rather than just grenades, it would be worth it. But, since it doesn’t, Sapper is a perk that should only be grabbed if players can’t find anything better to put their points in. Literally, anyth

The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is a true dystopian future where seedy and shady corporations basically control everything having more power than most of the world's governments. While it may seem like the game's universe were thought of by developer CD Projekt Red , it actually comes from the Cyberpunk 2077 story Guide tabletop game that established its own ge

This is all with the threat of the Reapers looming over you. The farther in you go, the closer you get to the Reapers wiping everything around you out. In Andromeda, everything is an unknown and your resources aren't what they were in the Milky Way. It doesn't have twists quite as nasty as the original trilogy, but it isn't great for the Angara .

Climate change has done untold damage to the world, which has caused famines and left many animals extinct. The United States collapsed completely during the 90s due to economic failure and disasters occurring left and right, taking a good portion of the western world with it. All of these catastrophes combine to make for the world protagonist V walks around

One look at Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and you can see why. It’s locked at 30fps, but the world is also completely empty. The NPCs and cars in the game at launch were fairly dull and predictable, disappearing or resetting as soon as you turned away and looked back, but the PS4 version seems to have removed all but the most essential ones entirely. It’s a ghost town, and regardless of my own thoughts on Cyberpunk 2077’s quality or themes, it’s clear that this is a shadow of the game it once was. Not even a shadow of its looming potential - the game seems to work on a basic ‘does not crash’ level, but aside from that it’s demonstrably worse than it was at launch. I’d love to hear an explanation for why it was finally deemed okay to sell now, when the game is so obviously not ready that it’s being sold with a warning that it’s not actually going to work on the console it is currently being sold for. The conspiracy theory that Sony is pissed CDPR left it carrying the can for refunds doesn’t ring true for me - if that was the case, I doubt it would be back on the store
